We are Galway City Harriers

We are Ireland's biggest Athletics Club, based in Galway city, Ireland, catering for senior and juvenile athletes. Founded in 1899, GCH has been to the forefront of athletics in Ireland throughout the 20th century and many famous athletes have represented both club and country in track and field, cross-country and road competitions.

View Athletics Irelands updates and resources for athletes, coaches and clubs in relation to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

It has never been easier to join, become a member and reap the fantastic benefits of being part of one of Ireland largest clubs.

Club Training is currently open but limited due to Covid-19 regulations. Please contact your coach for your training details.

Fit4Life is a beginner to intermediate running group and an excellent way to get into being more active.
